Good times ahead for Zimbabwe

Published on

EDITOR – I HAVE been reading some sections of the media reporting about the touring of two prominent Botswana musical divas Magadeline Lesolebe aka Charma Girl and Naledi Kaisara, who are coming here for a series of shows. Slizer is on month’s tour promoting her DVD album while Charma Girl is to hold shows with Jah Prayzah.
International musician John Legend is set to perform in Harare in November. The coming of these artistes to Zimbabwe is a sign that our country is a safe destination, contrary to reports by foreign media and other sections of our local media.
Foreign artistes are jostling to come and perform in Zimbabwe.
Surely if our economy was on the brink of collapse would such international artistes want to play for peanuts here?
While some Zimbabweans are trying to go to Botswana and overseas to seek the so-called greener pastures, foreign artistes including the famous John Legend have shown faith in Zimbabwe.
Zimbabwe is indeed headed for good times.
