EDITOR – UNIVERSITIES around the country will soon be opening and thousands of undergraduates will begin different programmes.
It is important for those enrolled to be focused and learn to be responsible citizens who will undergo their studies with the future of their country.
Zimbabwe has in the past experienced massive brain drain thereby posing a negative image of the country.
The continent and the world recognise Zimbabwe as having good educational standards and Zimbabweans are all over the world as a result of their good educational qualifications.
It is high time that children are taught to be patriotic and raise Zimbabwe’s flag high.
It is time everyone takes part in rebuilding the country’s sectors, key sectors such as health and education among others.
In as much most people would blame lack of jobs for the exodus, people should note that President Robert Mugabe’s calls that not everyone is educated in order to work for someone.
People should learn to be their own masters; they should form their own companies and be employers.
I also want to urge the undergraduates not to be misled and engage in promiscuity.
HIV and AIDS is real and most have destroyed their bright future because of lack of self control and wanting to be like others.
A healthy nation is key to economic development.
