Zimbabwe’s own wonder herb

WHEN we talk about Zimbabwe and its soil, most of us think about farming, how to generate money out of it and contribute to the growth of our economy.
When we envision Zimbabwe, we think about diamonds, gold and platinum, among many other minerals.
These are things we often think about because most of us want big money, fast money in fact.
Seldom do people think about other things embedded in our soil that is probably worth more than gold as they offer and prolong one’s life. What is a lot of money when it can’t give you life or heal you of any ailments your body might be suffering from?
I have always believed and said God put everything we need for our well-being in the earth, be it food for the stomach or medicine for the body.
Recently I came in contact with one Bishop Israel Muzari who, a few years ago, discovered a local herb that can boost the body’s immune system.
In an article titled ‘Wonder Herb that boosts body’s immune system’ published in the NewsDay on August 12 2015, Bishop Israel Muzari speaks of how the revelation of this herb came to him.
He talks about how he administered the herb on his uncle’s wife who was HIV positive and had been on ARVs since 2006 but tested negative in July 2014 after taking the herb.
I know most readers are asking: ‘Is this young man saying we got the cure for HIV growing in our own backyard?’
That was the very question I had when I first heard of the herb whose preferred name on the market is Wonderlife.
I decided to dig deeper.
My reason was based on the knowledge of someone I know personally whose CD4 count has shot up since the day he started taking Wonderlife and is gradually shooting up as the days go by.
I was invited for a Wonderlife herb agents workshop to learn more on this herb and to confirm what I have always known to be true, that the Creator put everything we need in the earth for our consumption and wellbeing.
At the workshop held at York House in Harare on March 18 2017, I was presented with a pamphlet of the ailments that the Wonderlife herb provides relief for.
Among some of the ailments and pains Wonderlife can provide relief for are HIV and AIDS, arthritis, ulcers, sugar diabetes, eczema, piles, stress and menstrual problems.
The workshop was administered by Misheck Makosa, the project co-ordinator at Wonderlife Africa.
Of course I was baffled by the fact that a single capsule could provide relief for so many ailments such that when I got a chance to talk to Makosa, I asked him how this was so.
“Wonderlife is a herbal innovation which boosts the immune system in the body of an individual and after boosting the immune system the body is now empowered to fight any foreign invasion in the body, for example things like ulcers and HIV,” said Makosa.
He explained how they noticed in a number of tests carried out that where HIV is concerned, the viral load goes down and the CD4 count goes up.
“We are, however, not claiming that we got the cure for HIV and AIDS,” he said
Unlike ARVs, the Wonderlife herb is not a drug, but a concoction of herbs.
“Herbs according to us, are a nutritional remedy. They are more of food than drugs,” Makosa said.
Unlike most drugs that target a virus or bacteria in the body, the Wonderlife herb targets and boosts the immune system, thereby enabling the body to fight anything that is foreign to it.
Like any other food, Wonderlife herb does not interfere with any medication being taken by an individual.
“If we have the notion that they interfere with drugs, we might as well say mbambaira interferes with drugs being taken by a person,” said Makosa as he explained why one does not need to come off any medication recommended to him by the doctor when taking Wonderlife.
It is a common thing here in Zimbabwe how people have often stopped taking ARVs without the doctor’s consent believing they have been healed from HIV and AIDS because a prophet or prophetess has told them they are healed.
In most cases, these people end up dying.
According to Makosa, one does not need to be sick in order to take Wonderlife.
Healthy people can take it in order to maintain good health.
And because of the naturalness of the herb, unlike medicinal drugs, it has almost no side effects at all, as confirmed by the Harare Institute of Technology (HIT) and the HIT Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.
One Blessing Kamanura testified how he was healed of ulcers after taking Wonderlife.
As a result, he has since become an agent and distributor of the Wonderlife herb.
Now a team leader at Wonderlife Africa, Kamanura has seen numerous testimonies from people he has administered the herb to.
Founder and developer of the Wonderlife herb, Bishop Muzari, last year entered into an agreement with HIT and the HIT Department of Pharmaceutical Technology has since confirmed the herb as an effective remedy for various ailments.
In an article written by Moses Ziyambi, a total of 50 patients infected with HIV and AIDS were given the medication.
In general, 80 percent reported improvement in the health conditions and some (15) reported possible total cure of their condition (though yet to be confirmed by using standard confirmatory tests).
It is up to us as Zimbabweans and Africans how we receive good news that come out of our own country and not Europe or Asia.
The Wonderlife herb, currently being administered and distributed under the Traditional Medicines Act, can be bought for US$20 a bottle of 30 capsules with a general intake of one capsule a day.
