Africa: Aren’t you tired of being cheated? – Part Seven…….moon-time more in line with natural cycles

Published on

PART of the manipulation of time was done to create a dissonance which would make Africans and others of similar fate vulnerable to exploitation by spiritually and emotionally unplugging them from the ocean of oneness with nature (including time).
Destruction of local conception of time was part of the larger agenda of destroying local/indigenous cultures which provided humanity with a balanced relationship with all natural elements, including time.
To date, mankind regards time (and indeed other elements of mother nature as antithetic).
Indeed the opposite of ‘there is no hurry in Africa’ has become ‘time is money’; but take note, not money as in something of value but as something commodified, something to be exploited and therefore something to be wary of in the day-to-day pursuit of profit (money). Time is therefore a threat, a foe to mankind’s desire for accumulation of material.
It has become a thing to be budgeted stingily, lest it betrays our desire to make money and more money.
That is why you hear questionable sayings such as: ‘A stitch in time saves nine’, ‘Procrastination is the thief of time’ and ‘Time lost can never be recovered’ which are all Western and misleading notions of time meant to throw you out of balance with time.
Indeed if you want to foster disharmony you create an artificial imbalance.
Interconnected with the manipulation of gender politics (a theme I will discuss in coming editions) is the manipulation of time.
The imperial power structures have tuned the human consciousness into a false perspective of time and in doing so, they have disconnected humanity from the rest of creation which operates on a different version of time.
In the process, humanity is made to live out of sync with the laws and processes of the universe and that is precisely why there are so many imbalances.
In Africa-centred metaphysics, there is actually no time as you have been made to conceive of it. There is permanence.
There is eternity — what the late Dr Vimbai Gukwe Chivaura often called ‘permanent presence’.
Let us further simplify this by quoting a Shona saying: Pasichigare (As it has always been).
In other words Kana tichiti pasichigare, we mean, Kuti kugara nekugara, meaning ‘The way it has been so shall it be — time without end’.
In a nutshell, everything just is what it is.
In African philosophy, the past, the present and the future are one thing.
And all events are happening at once.
It is our activities in the womb of time which we measure.
What we measure is based on our entry point into this form of existence and our exit point into higher forms of being which current notions of time purport (erroneously) as extinction.
Age is but entry and progression towards exit.
Note that within the realm of human perception two (2) of the clock is a measure of the progression of your activities, but the sun is always shining.
Therefore time is always there.
It is only our perception of time that makes events appear to be happening in a linear form. Yet even in linear time, mankind has been unplugged from the natural flow.
According to an enlightened one, ‘Nature is tuned to moon-time, the 28-day 13 cycles of the moon.
The woman’s menstrual cycle is tuned to the moon and, appropriately, it is the moon which takes the male solar energy and reflects it back at the Earth in a female form.
Does this ring a bell?
I am sure it does; if it doesn’t, let me further elucidate.
Average Africans would know that Africans measure time by the cycles of the moon which correspond with the female menstrual cycle; this alone showing that the very timetables of creation in the woman’s womb are both conditioned and in sync with other cycles/movements in nature such as the seasons and climatic shifts.
This makes nonsense of another misleading panic about climate change which in fact is a direct result of man’s onslaught on nature’s processes (what we shall call ecological ngozi – another theme I shall elaborate on in future editions).
The indigenous peoples of the world, who still live by moon-time, are far more in tune with nature because they are operating on the same time energy flow as nature.
The question we ask then is: How has the world disconnected with the world where there is no hurry?
According to historical records, in 1572, Pope Gregory announced that a new calendar was to be introduced, the Gregorian Calendar, implemented in October 1582.
This calendar was another scam of the imperial structures.
It became the fixed standard time for the planet by their design and to date, everywhere in Africa (except in Ethiopia), this calendar has become the standard for everything including corporates and governments’ fiscal plans, markers of independence dates (including other key national dates) as well as individual birthdays.
Even the lie that Jesus was born on December 25 is based on this manipulated calendar.
And all millennia milestones are pegged on this.
This means that the human mind is tuned to this manufactured flow of ‘time’ when we look at a clock, a watch or plan the future with a diary.
To make matters worse, just where is the centre of this time system, the zero point from which all the world’s people tune their timepieces?
It is based on the Greenwich in London, situated across the River Thames in the city of London.
Does that send shockwaves?
It ties up with the major motivation of the Gregorian Calendar.
