THE Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is concerned with armed robbery cases where suspects pounce on shops, tuck shops and other business premises and get away with money and groceries.
The robbers carry out calculated surveillance before pounding on their intended victim.
They target places where they know or believe that large sums of money are kept.
In most instances they are armed with rifles, knives, iron bars or other offensive weapons.
Members of the public are therefore discouraged from keeping large sums of money in churches, home and business premises.
You are also advised to be vigilant when driving or walking to and from home.
Always be alert.
