ARABIA was originally inhabited by blacks of the tribe of Ishmael and the pre-Solomonic Sabaeans who were Ethiopians, such as Makeda. 
Abraham was a blackman who conceived Ishmael by Hagar the Egyptian.
Ishmael then married an Egyptian woman with whom he conceived 12 children and their descendants were located in Arabia.
According to the Kebra Nagast, when Solomon’s son Ben la Hakim (Menyelek) went to Judah at the age of 23, the Israelites mistook him for Solomon, yet he was a son of the African queen Makeda.
This shows that both Solomon and his son were as black as Africans.
Solomon was also described as having bushy black locks in the biblical book of Songs of Solomon. Jacob or Israel was smooth skinned and the Israelites were described as wooly haired and their skin the colour of brass burnt in a furnace.
This shows that the Remba always had black ancestry and their migrating into Africa may have been to escape the non-black forces that were entering the region.
In the Quran, Muhammad mentions the Sabaeans as people of the scripture but distinguishes them from the partakers of Judaism because though they were of the house of David and Solomon, they were not partakers of the religion of Judaism which Muhammad greatly criticised for straying from the way of Abraham in many respects.
This also shows us that though the ancestors of the Remba were in Arabia at the time of Muhammad, they were not Muslims by religion though their culture shares the same tenets as what Muhammad was introducing as a return to the way of Abraham. 
The Sabaeans had a Sabaic script similar to Paleo Hebrew which was used by the likes of Moses and David.
The Paleo Hebrew script was from the western Shemitic script which was used by Abraham up to the time of Joseph who invited all of Israel to live in Egypt and they did so for 430 years.
This proves that the Israelites were indeed black because they were identical to the Egyptians who raised Moses and could not have survived Egypt’s hot and dry climate.
The dress code of the Israelites in Egypt exposed bare skin to the ‘vicious’ sun, a thing that can only be survived by the blacks of Africa to date.
The white-skinned foreigners from Turkey who eventually invaded Egypt needed to wear gowns resembling sheets to cover themselves from the sun which burned their skin.
The Sabaic script is 81 percent identical to the Ethiopic script and shares 17 out 21 characters that are rooted in Paleo Hebrew.
This validates the claim that both Saba in Yemen and Axum in Ethiopia take root in Menyelek, the son of King Solomon of Israel and Queen Makeda of Africa (Ethiopia) and Sheba (Arabia).
The name Yemen was given to Saba by Makeda and meant ‘Trusted one’ from ‘Ya amin’ because that is where the ark of the covenant used to be set besides Axum.
All this paints a clear picture that is confirmed by Remba oral history which says their ancestors crossed over to Africa by ship and were in possession of a sacred object that would eventually be called Lungundu.
In ancient times and to this day in places like Malawi and even China, the word lungu or long means lord. In China long from whence the word lungundu probably came from literally means ‘the lord’s’ which would have been a fit name for the ark of the covenant of Israel. 
Contrary to many people’s beliefs, this object was not a drum but a gold coated combination of a table and box made of hard wood.
The word ngoma was in reference to the event when the Lungundu was unveiled annually and this was accompanied with celebrations involving drink and animal offerings to God.
There are other Remba events which are also called ngoma and not in reference to a drum, but the event in itself.
For example, to attend a Remba initiation ceremony is called kutamba ngoma which literally means dancing to the drum, yet the event has nothing to do with the drum.
It is not farfetched to say that the Sabaeans reached Far East Asia because the influence of the Queen of Sheba reached the Kunlun Mountains of western China. 
She was known as Xiwang Mu meaning mother of the western king. 
There, the Dao or Tao system began and the dynasty in question was called Zhou.
The name Zhou in the form of Yhw (Jew) was used by the tribe of Judah and was short for the words YAH (God’s name) and hodah (praise).
Zhou (Yhw) has been retained by the Remba people who still make use of it as a last name. 
The Zhou people of Zimbabwe were associated with the elephant because the word sounds like the Karanga name for elephant.
Thus many associate the Remba with the elephant totem to this day.
The Remba were also associated with the mouse because they are forbidden to eat mice and Zimbabweans would assume the mouse to be their totem because one is not allowed to eat his own totem.
In reality, the Remba do not hold the mouse sacred but abhor it just like swine.  
So the Remba are undoubtedly Shemitic and have Judaic and Levitic ancestry.
But until as recent as 2012, they were not partakers of Judaism.
They observed their ancestral covenants with Mwari (God) without the Greek influenced Rabbinic Judaism which involves synagogues, skull caps, shawls and the Talmud, among others.
They also were not Muslims by religion until the 1980s and did not have mosques, kafias and so on.
They also make drink offerings of millet wine which is a thing discouraged in the Quran and forbidden by the religion of Islam.
The truth is that the Remba were not religious at all and even Christianity failed to wholly convert the Remba people.
They were proud of their culture and faced many consequences including being banned from entering schools because they chose not to let go of their culture.
They had names like Yhw (Zhou), David (Davadava) and Solomon (Seremani) long before the whiteman came to Zimbabwe with the English Bible.
For these and more reasons, the people who partake of religions that were rooted in the way of Abraham cannot ignore the Remba community.
Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging the Remba as they found them, both Muslims and Jews are now competing to convert them.
If left to succeed, this will dilute the identity of the Remba and taint their culture which they have worked so hard to conserve.
The Remba forbade inter-marriage with foreign people just like the ancient Israelites.
Choosing to exit Arabia and enter Africa for good is an indication that they had no problem inter-marrying with Africans as long as they followed suit to their Shemitic culture. 
The mistake most people have is that they believe the whiteman’s lie of portraying Israelites as whites.
As mentioned in last week’s article, there were no whites in Israel until the time of the Greeks.
Likewise, there were no whites in Arabia until the coming of the Turks. 
The Remba stand as proof that the ancient Arabians and Israelites were as black as them.
When doubt came into play, Remba blood was tested and found to confirm their oral history of coming from the above stated lands and entering Africa for good in more recent times.
So the Zhou or Mwenye people predate the religions of Judaism and Islam and would confuse and mislead their children if they were to be assimilated into either of the two.
Theirs is a genealogical connection to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
That of Jews and Muslims is a religious one. Anyone can change his religion but no one can avert their ancestry. 
The Remba should therefore conserve their tribes and covenants the same way they have done since entering Saba from Judah and southern Africa from Saba.
That is by way of following the rites and ceremonies that were passed to them by their ancestors.
The Hebrew Tanahk (Old Testament), Ethiopian Kebra Nagast, Arabian Quran and Sabaean Book of Enoch should be used as history books by the Remba because together they support the oral history of the Sabaean Remba.
But they should in no way forsake their own culture and identity by partaking of other religions.
