Adrenalin to sponsor PE Tigers

PRINCE EDWARD rugby school team, the Tigers, secured a year’s sponsorship deal from Adrenalin Advertising who are celebrating two decades of existence.
The deal, unveiled last week ahead of the Dairiboard schools rugby tournament, sees the hosts dressed in branded kits from the advertising concern. Adrenalin will take care of the Tigers’ kit needs.
Prince Edward’s unbeaten run in last year’s tournament charmed the sponsors.
The company’s chief executive Bester Zambuko said they are ploughing back into the community they serve while investing in the future.
“We have a duty to support grassroots sports development and so, in essence, the Prince Edward Tigers sponsorship is a natural extension of our work and a small gesture in service to our adjacent community and to the future of local sport,” said Zambuko.
The Adrenalin boss hinted extension of sponsorship to other sporting disciplines next year after reviewing the just unveiled package.
Prince Edward, who turn 120 years this year, are one of the big names in schools rugby and have churned out a number of professional players.
Adreanlin have always had a soft spot for development of local sport. One of their subsidiaries, Hexagon Sports Management , have been instrumental in steering local sport forward, marketing and sourcing sponsorships for events such as NASH Under-20 soccer, Davis Cup and BancABC (Dynamos and Highlanders sponsors), among others.
Meanwhile, the curtain comes down at the Dairiboard schools rugby festival tomorrow after six days of action. Schools from across the country converge at Prince Edward and the tournament has become an epitome of schools rugby. Churchill and Prince Edward have dominated the tournament in the past years.
