Afro-Zimbabweans vs Afro-Rhodesians

WE have looked at Afro-Rhodesians in the past.
While we know they existed, we thought that they will be shy to expose themselves in the open.
We never thought that they will demonstrate how much they are missing Rhodesia, its beer and the British pound.
This is coming from an Afro-Rhodesian who wants to rule Zimbabweans one day.
I think I will not be blamed for alleging that from his utterances, Tsvangirai is one of many Afro-Rhodesians leading a back-to-Rhodesia crusade.
They may be resourced for the mission, but Afro-Zimbabweans must refuse to allow Zimbabwe becoming a colony again.
This week I am going to focus on the attributes of Afro-Zimbabweans.
Afro-Zimbabweans do not have any other home.
Zimbabwe is their only home and will do everything to make it a better place to live in.
To live up to the Zimbabwe dream, Afro-Zimbabweans need survival attributes some of which I will discuss below.
Afro-Zimbabweans are patriotic.
They love their country and those who live in it that they are prepared to die for it.
We saw sons and daughters who paid dearly with their lives to liberate her from colonialism.
They paid for this liberation through shedding their precious blood.
Afro-Zimbabweans share a national vision.
The latest national vision is enshrined in the Zim-ASSET blueprint.
That land should be in the hands of its rightful owners in an irreversible way. Land should be the key driver of economic growth as agriculture and mining all take place on land.
Zimbabwe should be assisted to empower her sons and daughters.
The means of production should be predominantly in the hands of the children of the soil.
All Zimbabweans who cannot employ others should have access to decent rewarding jobs.
The education curriculum of hewers of wood and drawers of water should be scrapped from demeaning citizens.
Cultural identity is the foundation of any nation.
Unfortunately, Rhodesia decimated our identity.
Afro-Zimbabweans seek to recover what was lost and reclaim what is remaining of our culture.
This is no mean task.
Michael Tellinger argues that the Great Zimbabwe monument dates back 260 000 years.
Yes, I mean 260 000 years.
You have always been told that Great Zimbabwe was built after the death of Jesus around the 11th century.
Therefore, to betray our cultural identity built over the last 200 000 years is a betrayal of the Afro-Zimbabwean heritage.
Our culture prevented our animals from getting epidemic diseases despite the absence of vaccines.
The moment the Whiteman set foot in our land over a 100 years ago, our animals were attacked by a deadly disease called Rinderpest, an infectious viral disease of cattle.
We lost our ways and culture, a mishap we continue to bear the cost to this day. We lost our land, our religion, our pride and our human-hood.
Afro-Zimbabweans seek to restore our cultural identity and claim our lost human-hood.
We need our scientists and anthropologists to interpret the messages written in caves referred by colonialists as rock paintings or bushmen paintings.
The writings in caves are not bushmen paintings.
It is an insult to call our ancestors bushmen and we must reject this with the contempt it deserves.
Why would our ancestors invest resources in discovering and manufacturing a paint that will last for centuries for the sake of painting rocks?
We are losing the opportunity to decipher and interpret these messages with the passage of each day.
Our symbols, rituals, values and heroes must be revived.
Referring to heroes, we should not only remember First and Second Chimurenga heroes.
We need to go back hundreds of thousands of years and celebrate the luminaries of our past such as Tovera, Thau Thau Haramas, Nehanda and Chaminuka.
We must research more on past heroes.
We should celebrate them when we print our currency.
Afro-Zimbabweans cherish being Zimbabwean
They work very hard to develop their country in agriculture, mining and other sectors.
They live and dream Zimbabwe.
Afro-Zimbabweans shun corruption.
They view corruption as a cancer that destroys the country.
To flash the corruption virus, the country will have to take drastic quarantining of infected citizens in maximum security cages such as Chikurubi.
That is why Afro-Zimbabweans shun corruption.
In fact genuine sons and daughters of the soil are incorruptible.
On another note, Zimbabwe’s population growth is disappointing.
Afro-Zimbabweans would not like to leave this country to wild animals when the population begins to decline.
Renewal of the population comes from having babies not having contraception.
The chart below compares Zimbabwe with other countries that have smaller land than ours.
From the above population chart, Zimbabwe has more land than all the countries in the chart, but it has the lowest population.
Why then are we risking our wives with side effects of drugs when we need to grow our economy to the level of other countries in Africa, Asia and Europe.
With a population density of 33,44 it is very difficult to provide adequate education and health for all as people are sparsely populated.
The Philippines have 313,38 people per square kilometre, Ghana here in Africa has 101,62 people per square kilometre while Zimbabwe has only 33,44 people per square kilometre.
Contraceptives and homosexuality have the same effect of decimating Afro-Zimbabweans.
Contraceptives are evil.
Afro-Zimbabweans seek to know their past.
They have self belief, self confidence, they are assertive because they know where they came from, who they are and who they shall be.
They do not risk taking pills to look white, neither do they buy flowing hair to look like white.
They are proud of who they are.
Lastly, Afro-Zimbabweans respect their heroes.
They know that, “Mukuru mukuru hanga haigari pfunde.”
