Bona: The girl who defied odds

Published on

THE last couple of weeks have seen the nation’s attention focused on Bona Mugabe and people from all walks of life are in agreement that Bona, the only daughter of Baba and Amai Mugabe of Zvimba is an inspiration and role model to the girl child and women of Zimbabwe.
The nation has applauded her for being a strong, beautiful, bold and a God fearing woman.
Unlike other children from wealthy families that are known for hosting lavish- Hollywood style parties, Bona has remained an everyday, average and ‘normal’ girl.

“Continue to love your God given wife my brother and always remember, Bona is a SPECIAL GIFT to you from God.
“Assure her of your love for her, and the unique part she holds in your life. “Bona is now your wife and your best friend, someone with whom you can talk and share your fears or failures.
“She is now your confidant and as you talk to her well daily and also praying together you will grow close to each other, and stay a blessed couple.
“Your parents have done all their best for you in blessing you so much and you must always be thankful to God for that, and continue to respect them, following their teachings, love and honouring them.
“Keep well, you are so much loved and prayed for together with your blessed families. Stay blessed.”
