RODWELL Dhlakama was today (Thursday) appointed Ngezi Platinum Stars interim coach.
The decorated gaffer takes over the ambitious Mhondoro-Ngezi based side from Dutchman Elroy Akbay who was fired last month.
Dhlakama left Chapungu early this month after turning the army side into a respectable outfit.
The gaffer is among the country’s most experienced coaches who have seen it all in the domestic league.
However, his immediate target could not be established with the league still open.
Ngezi are on position eight on the 18-team log with 32 points from 23 matches; eight wins, eight draws and seven losses.
Dhalakama’s immediate assignment is a home match against Mushowani Stars in a Chibuku Super Cup first round match this Saturday. – Patriot Sports Online
