How whites turn Africans into tools of Western progress

THE Western project to turn Africans into raw materials for Western progress is an ongoing historical mission.
It takes various strategies or fronts as a way of adapting to changes on the world’s historical stage.
Where one strategy fails or becomes detectable, the others that are more alluring and subtle come into operation.
A rose by any other name is still a rose.
The discourse of slavery may change, but slavery remains the same.
That is the logic used by the West.
The voyages of African conquest were called voyages of discovering Africa and Africans.
The voyages of conquest of the Americas were called voyages of discovering the New World. An American Indian leader who saw through this trick of the white man had this to say: “The whole white race is a monster who is always hungry, and what he eats is land.”
The process of massacring Africans and dispossessing them of their land is called civilisation by the West.
Civilisation includes enslaving the conquered people who are conquered and turning them into raw materials and tools for the progress of the West.
This is achieved through a process called evangelism or religion.
Its purpose is to spread the gospel of presenting the white man as a messenger of God and representative of God on earth.
Here is what King Leopold II has to say to his missionaries and service men about presenting themselves to Africans as messengers of God and representatives of God on earth:
“I am pleased to think that our agents, nearly all of whom are volunteers drawn from the ranks of the Belgian army, have always present in their minds, a strong sense of the career in which they are engaged, and are animated with a pure sense of patriotism to Belgium; not sparing their own blood, they will the more spare the blood of the natives, who will see in them the all-powerful protectors of their lives and benevolent teachers of whom they have so great a need.”
The strategy of turning Africans from their own religion to worship the white man as their new God is called conversion.
This is fulfilled by the ritual of baptism.
Its purpose is to wash the African out of his blackness and cleanse him of African cultural demons and leave them drowning in the water of baptism like the swine of Legion in the Bible.
Here is what an American Indian chief who would not be fooled by the white man has to say about his experience of being baptised and intention of the white man to turn him from himself into a stooge of the white man: “One day they threw water on my head and gave me salt to eat, and with this the interpreter told me that now I was a Christian.”
He poses the following question to the white man: “You tell me that Paradise is very beautiful.
“Is it more beautiful than the land of the musk ox in summer, when sometimes the mist blows over the little lakes in the early morning and the loons cry very often?
“Can I see the caribou roam where I look, and can I feel the wind?”
Another example is of an African who was baptised and had his name changed from ‘Tsuro’ to ‘Joseph’ and was instructed never to eat a rabbit again as a born-again Christian.
One day he was seen passing through the Church premises carrying a rabbit.
The white priest asked him what he was going to do with the rabbit.
Joseph replied that he was going to eat it because what the priest was seeing now was fish not a rabbit which he Joseph had turned to a born-again fish by sprinkling water on its head as the priest had done to Joseph.
And Joseph smiled and further saying to the priest that this was the beauty of the Christian religion the white priest had taught him, which he Joseph was going to tell his fellow Africans to now follow.
Of course, Joseph is a rare and smart African.
Most Africans let themselves be fooled by the white man and allow the white man to empty them of their African content.
Once they are emptied of their African content, the white man subjects them further to a long and arduous process of stooge-making called education.
This consists of many curious stations of initiation and ordeals called Degrees.
At the end of which, graduates are crowned with gowns in black symbolising the impenetrable darkness into which the white man intends to plunge them, never to recover from or see the sun, again.
The sun here is enlightenment.
Meanwhile, the white man has the last laugh at the creature his education has enabled him to produce out of the African.
Here is what Conrad has to say joyously about the African stooge he has produced through the white man’s education and training:
“And between whiles I had to look after the savage who I had turned into a fireman.
“He was an improved specimen; he could fire up a vertical boiler.
“He was there below me and, upon my word, to look at him was as edifying as seeing a dog in a parody of breeches and a feather hat walking on his hind legs.
“A few months of training had done for that really fine chap.
“He squinted at the steam-gauge with an evident effort of intrepidity, and he had filed teeth too, the poor devil, and the wool of his pate shaved into queer patterns, and three ornamental scars on each of his cheeks.
“He ought to have been clapping his hands and stamping his feet on the bank, instead of which he was hard at work, a thrall to strange witchcraft, full of improving knowledge.”
This is what the white man has done with Tshombe and others whose names are now an abomination to mention in Africa and Zimbabwe today.
Dr Assa Hilliard has described mental bondage as invisible violence.
While formal physical slavery has ended in Africa and America, mental slavery continues relentlessly to this present day.
It is a form of slavery which affects the minds of all people and is worse than physical slavery. The person who is in mental bondage will be ‘self-contained’.
Not only will that person fail to challenge beliefs and patterns of thought which control him, he will defend and protect those beliefs and patterns of thought virtually with his last dying effort.
