Is racism now over?

NOW that the former South African President, Nelson Mandela was laid to rest last Sunday December 15 2013, it is time to sit back and look back on events that took place after his death all the way to his burial.
Let us look first at the memorial service that was held in his honour at the FNB Stadium on the Tuesday before the Sunday burial.
It is reported that the memorial service attracted the largest number of world leaders ever to attend such a service for a world leader who had passed away. What stood out was that the entire Anglo-Saxon leadership was there.
What was also quite remarkable was the fact that the United States of America was represented at the very highest level and it predominated.
Yes, presidents, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and President Obama himself were there.
The United Kingdom too was represented at the highest level.
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair was there, Prince Charles was there and so was the present Prime Minister, David Cameron.
Other Western Imperialist nations such as France, etc were also represented at the highest levels.
The coming of large and very high powered delegations from Imperialist nations to attend an African leader’s funeral made many small minded politicians and analysts to naively utter “friends, the world has now completely changed.
“Racism is now over.
“See, the Western nations leaders are now taking their fellow African leaders as equals.”
Really?
Can anyone seriously tell me that George W. Bush came to attend Nelson Mandela’s memorial service because he George W. Bush strongly believed he was attending the funeral service of a world leader, equal to him, Mr Mandela?
Again can anyone tell me that the same George W. Bush came to South Africa because he cares a lot about the poor and suffering people of Soweto, Alexandra, the appalling squatter camps of Langa, Kwamashu, Diepsloot etc whom he wants to be uplifted so that one day they may live in decent houses in the suburbs ? Come on let’s not fool each other.
George W. Bush did not attend Mandela’s funeral service believing that Mandela and him were equals, nor does he care about the poor people of South Africa, nor does he believe that racism is over.
On the contrary, it is our intention here to show that George W. Bush and all Western leaders who attended Mandela, the African leader’s funeral did not take him as their equal but simply as another African leader whom they would never trust.
And that all the hullabaloo generated by their attending the former President’s funeral was meant to hide other agendas.
Below we try to argue our case.
We shall start by going down memory lane.
Under Apartheid, the former racist government of the ‘National Party’ was a blue eyed boy of Western governments.
As a matter of fact, despite the progressive noises coming from civic groups in the West at the time with regards to the evilness of apartheid, Western governments themselves treated the Apartheid regime, the way Israel is treated today by America.
Quietly and nicodemously, Western governments especially the United States of America beefed up the military capability of the Apartheid regime to very high levels.
This eventually resulted in the racist ‘National Party’ government acquiring nuclear capability.
In short Apartheid South Africa became a nuclear power.
Then Nelson Mandela was released from prison.
In no time negotiations between him (Mandela) and the ‘National Party’ racist government began with the ultimate goal being the handing over of power to the black people of South Africa by the racists.
The negotiations took quite some time with the racists refusing to budge.
However, with the passage of time, the racists began to give ground to the African freedom fighters.
When it became clear to everyone that within a short time Nelson Mandela was going to become the first Black President of South Africa leading a black government, the Western governments led by America approached the Apartheid government of De Klerk and asked him to hand over all the nuclear weapons in their arsenal to them.
Why?
Below is the answer which should anger every African from Cape to Cairo including Mandela himself.
The answer below also exposes the hypocrisy of the Western leaders who came to South Africa to the funeral of Mandela crying, “Mandela, the great world statesman!”, when behind closed doors they dismissed him as another “African leader who cannot be trusted.”
Here then is the answer.
F.W. De Klerk has come out publicly and said that the Western governments came to him and asked him to hand over the nuclear weapons allegedly because the Westerners did not trust the Nelson Mandela African government to have nuclear weapons in their armoury!!!
And so the nuclear weapons were handed over to the Western governments. Many South African freedom fighters like one Modise who became defence Minister were very angry with De Klerk for handing over the weapons.
However, De Klerk simply shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
Now here we are, over 20 years later, the Americans and British who once trusted the devilish apartheid government with nuclear weapons and helped them to develop more and more of these weapons but could not trust Nelson Mandel with the same weapons because he was a black leader, come today crying on African soil like hyenas wailing “we have lost the greatest man that ever lived.” Really?
But how on earth could the Americans and their friends not trust ‘the greatest man that ever lived’, ‘the world statesman’, ‘the man who was the alpha and omega of good leadership’, but trust the evil Botha?
How?
Does that make any sense?
Of course it doesn’t.
Now why did the Westerners make so much noise at Mandela’s funeral praising him to the skies when in actual fact when it came to serious matters they just dismissed him in the racist way saying “he is another African leader who cannot be trusted?”
The answer is a very simple one.
Since Mandela did not tamper with the massive economic and military Western interests in South Africa, the Americans, Brits etc had all the reasons to come to Mandela’s funeral in droves.
And so we should never be fooled to think that because Western leaders came to mourn an African leader in large numbers racism is over.
Far from it.
As we have already demonstrated the Westerners never trusted Mandela with nuclear weapons because he was a black African.
Western leaders came for their economic and military interests and not to honour Mandela.
