Is white racism in the world now over?

Published on

RACISM is usually defined as “practices or beliefs or social or political systems that consider different races to be ranked as inherently superior to each other.”
A more practical definition from the standpoint of we black Africans would be: “racism is an evil practice perpetrated by whites against black people where the whites consider themselves superior to Africans in general and then go on by way of force and other means to exploit the African person and his resources as well as humiliate him/her in all walks of life across the World.”
Now is this type of racism, over with the coming in of the so-called ‘Human Rights’ culture in the World?
Below we would like to show that racism as defined above is far from over. If anything, it has intensified being used under various guises.
To help us with our argument, we shall use the examples of racism in the USA and UK, the two countries who are considered the founding fathers of racism in the world.
We are going to draw on the history of racism in these two countries as well as the situation prevailing today in these nations in order to show that racism is so entrenched in the above two countries and other countries and is beneficial to their peoples that it will be like taking a fish out of water to take out racism from the UK and USA.
We shall start by looking at the USA.
Racism against black African people in the USA was first used extensively during slavery.
There is no question that USA as a modern economy was founded on the exploitation of black Africans who were taken to the Americas as slaves.
And it was during slavery that white superiority over blacks was internalised into the white mindset.
For example, black slaves lived in terrible conditions and were systematically dehumanised by practices such as beatings until they died.
Whites eventually took it as the norm that blacks were considered inferior and therefore could be exploited without any white man feeling guilty about it.
When slavery as a formal system was ended, the white government who were used to having whites bossing over blacks, enacted laws that gave privileges to whites in all walks of life, “matters of literacy, immigration, voting rights, citizenship, land acquisition, criminal procedure, jobs, social amenities etc.” Not only did the government enact laws that discriminated against blacks, they also unleashed killer racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan to cow and terrorise black communities to remain subservient to whites.
“The first branch of the Ku Klux Klan was established in Pulaski, Tennesse, in May 1866.
“Most of the leaders were former members of the confederate army.
“During the next two years, Klansmen wearing masks, white cardboard hats and draped in white sheets, tortured and killed black Americans.
“Between 1868 and 1870, the Ku Klux Klan played an important role in strengthening white rule in North Carolina, Tennesse and Georgia.”
The courts even weighed in, in support of the Ku Klux Klan when in “United States vs Cruikshank (1875), the United States Supreme Court decided that the Federal government had no power ‘to regulate private actions’.”
And as a result, blacks were put at the mercy of racist paramilitary groups such as the Ku Klux Klan.
The Ku Klux Klan did not end in the 1800s.
“In 1980, three Ku Klux Klan members shot four elderly black women in Chattanooga, Tennesse, following a Ku Klux Klan initiation rally.
“Attempted murder charges were filed against the three Ku Klux Klan members, two of whom were acquitted by an all white jury and the other was sentenced by the same jury to nine months on lesser charges.
“He was released after three months.”
Today, the Ku Klux Klan is still alive in the USA and is the driving force behind white extremism found there today.
What about racism elsewhere?
Racism remains a major problem in the USA.
Racism against blacks continues to reflect in “socioeconomic inequality, and racial stratification continues to occur in employment, housing, education health, lending, government.
“Discrimination against blacks is widely acknowledged.”
For example, the largest number of prisoners in American jails today are blacks.
And the largest number of poor people in the USA are blacks despite blacks being the minority.
Further the largest number of people that are killed under Capital punishment are blacks.
In short, racism against black people in the USA is far from over.
And this white racism against blacks in the USA has been extended the world over now that the USA considers itself the world’s new colonial master.
Turning to the UK, it is widely acknowledged that Britain is the mother of all racism in the world.
Researchers say that if the UK were to pay all reparations for the exploitation they perpetrated against black people the world over, the present UK economy would remain without a single penny in its treasury.
This only goes to show how much the UK has benefitted from racism against blacks in history.
What is the racism situation like today in the UK?
There is still plenty of racism against blacks in Britain today.
For example, “The British crime survey reveals that in 2004,
87 000 people from black communities were victims of racially motivated crime.”
One critic actually described the UK as ‘sleep walking towards Apartheid’. This is true bearing in mind that the UK is one of the few countries in the world where political parties that stand wholly for white privilege and advocate black exploitation and even killings like the former National Party of South Africa are allowed to operate freely.
Not only are they allowed to operate freely, but these racist parties are now controlling seats in local councils.
And who knows, one day they may come into power.
We are talking about political parties such as the British National Front and the British National Party who even preach the gospel to physically eliminate black people.
Yes, in the UK innocent blacks are routinely murdered on their way to school or work by racist groups who draw their inspiration from the above two mentioned racist political parties.
Furthermore, British society itself is inherently racist.
There is racism against blacks in newspapers, radio, televisions, films etc. White police very often arrest and harass innocent blacks just to show who is master and who is servant.
There is no question about it.
Racism is alive in the UK.
At the international level, the USA and UK as the two who form the pinnacle of the Anglo-Saxon race are now claiming racial superiority over everyone else in the world.
The whole world is now being asked to dance to the tune and melodies of Anglo- Saxon songs of racial superiority where all the resources of the world and its people are to be under the control of the Anglo-Saxon race.
And anyone who does not want to listen to these racist songs of Anglo-Saxon racial superiority and privilege is labelled a ‘terrorist’, ‘tinpot dictator’ ‘Third World idiot’ ‘human rights abuser’, etc.
It is therefore nonsensical to say that racism in the world is over simply because the USA or the UK are talking about human rights and democracy. Racism in the world is in fact becoming more dangerous every day.
