TOP South African wheel spinner DJ Fresh not only thrilled revellers, but taught local spinners a thing or two about delivery at the turntables during last week’s Miller Sound Clash Africa gala in Harare.
DJ Fresh’s spectacular performance was spiced up by a wide selection of dancehall, hip hop and house music that saw revellers never getting off the dance floor.
The sound clash gala capped the national competition for the best local wheel spinners that was won by DJ Raydizz, real name, Rayhaan Jassat who will perform in Las Vegas at the grand international finals.
Local spinners proved their worth during the clash matching DJ Fresh pound for pound on the turntables.
Top African artiste Khuli Chan and DJEuphonik mesmerised Hararians with different mixes of music genres.
This was the first time the top African Djs Fresh, Euphonik and Khuli Chana performed together and the trio did not disappoint.
Zimbabwe’s son DJ Raydizz did not disappoint as well putting up a splendid performance that spiced up the show with local dancehall songs that have become favourites of many music lovers.
Raydizz’s magnificent performance confirmed that he was indeed the best locally as fans could not hide their satisfaction with his music selection on the decks.
The sound clash gala lit up Glass House in Borrowdale and the world-class sound systems, LED walls and pyros brought an international super club feel to Harare for the first time.
