Time to work good people

EDITOR – THE deal is done, the dust has now settled, and the real business starts.
I was at the National Sports Stadium on Friday 24 November 2017 to witness history, and what I saw was the arrival of a new Zimbabwe and its re-awakening.
The revival of the Zimbabwe economy is now on track.
It just needs our collective effort as a people.
We have all the ingredients that are needed to make this country and economy work again.
We also need to relook at all the deals which were frustrated by the cabal that was trying to derail the country’s economy.
Let us go back and bring to the table again people like Nigerian businessman Aliko Dangote, so that he can be allowed to proceed with his proposed investment.
We need to revisit the Darwendale deal with the Russians which we were told was worth US$3 billion.
There is need to speed up implementation of the Chirundu-Beitbridge Highway dualisation.
Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Company (Ziscosteel) is another major project that needs urgent attention.
There are many other low-hanging fruits in the economy which need to be capitalised so that we can take this country to the promised land.
Let us come together as Zimbabweans and make our economy work again.
There is no time to waste, since our work is cut out.
Viva Zimbabwe!
