Wharton please be realistic

EDITOR – I must say the US Ambassador to Zimbabwe Bruce Wharton needs help. I used to think he is a reasonable person, but just like his predecessor Charles Ray, Wharton is crazy.
It has suddenly dawned on him that as Americans, they can deal with Zimbabweans better than the Chinese.
Suddenly the Chinese are crooks because we managed to secure mega deals with the Asian giant.
Is Wharton normal if I may ask? He forgets that his country hates Zimbabwe.
He forgets that his stooge of a president Barack Obama even failed to invite President Robert Mugabe to the so-called US-Africa Summit where he gave the African leaders who attended paltry amounts compared to what Zimbabwe secured in China. The double standards displayed by Wharton are a disgrace to say the least. Besides the sanctions his country imposed on Zimbabwe, he has the audacity to say Americans can do better business with Zimbabwe. In fact he talks about transparency.
Mr Ambassador, please if you were so much hurt by the growing cordial relations between Zimbabwe and China you should have just gone home and slept over it. Don’t make a fool out of yourself.
Zimbabwe and China’s friendship dates back to the days of the liberation struggle. Zimbabwe and China will always be comrades in arms.
Your country USA does not have permanent friends, but interests. You are the crooks, not the Chinese.
