EDITOR – I MUST say I am disappointed by the news I heard that the country’s rising star in dancehall, Tocky Vibes has not yet paid people who featured in his popular video for the song ‘Mhai’.
Three people were interviewed on ZBC on Wednesday and they all criticised the young man for not being professional because they were not paid their dues.
So what is happening to Tocky Vibes?
Does he have a manager because if he does, then he is doing a poor job.
If Tocky Vibes is not careful, very soon his career will be in shambles.
Some people, including music promoters are slowly shunning him, not because he is not a good artist, but because of his lack of professionalism.
In fact some fans have begun accusing him of taking them for granted.
Or is it that fame has completely blinded the young man?
He must never forget that it is the people who have helped him to rise to the level he is today and the very same people can contribute to his downfall.
If at all he has a manager, then it’s time for the so-called manager to start working hard.
Tocky Vibes really needs some panel beating.
