When Rhodies dropped napalm bombs on Gondola

THEY raise hell if there is no-one to employ us then they burn tyres, buildings; they destroy property because they must be hawkers for the goods the capitalist factories produce.
They are the true prototype the capitalists created, a reserve force to employ or abuse at will.
Now they pay the greedy ones among us a few pieces of silver to be ruble-rousers in the hope of making the country ungovernable and then when the situation gets out of hand, they loot at will.
But we will not raise hell because we want to be producers.
We will not besiege the father of the land, the President, with petitions for land and implements of production.
Instead they say get rid of him because he has failed, there are no jobs, there are no factories, there is no capital.
They do not say: ‘Where is he who-ever invited sanctions, he whom the British echoed and promised they would make the Zimbabwean economy ‘scream’ so that it would fail and the people rise against President Robert Mugabe?’
Surely if something so evil is planned and broadcast for all to hear across the nations, how does anyone fail to grasp what is going on in this precious country, or is it just all pretence?
And then someone begs Aliko Dangote not to invest in Zimbabwe and then people support such a person in a crusade to ‘shut down’ Zimbabwe because ‘Mugabe’s Zimbabwe has failed to deliver?’
And to add insult to injury that person drapes the sacred Zimbabwe flag around his neck as a symbol of his criminal activities to destroy a Nation that stood and triumphed against British banditry of 90 years; a Nation which extended the hand of reconciliation to the erstwhile armed-robbers and for the last 36 years has battled to bring justice and equity to the masses of Zimbabwe amid gales of hostility from the defeated British armed robbers and their European relatives.
Is this news to anyone?
Is there anyone who does not understand this scenario?
Did Ian Smith manufacture the Hawker Hunters, Cessna aircrafts, Dakotas, Vampires and mirage jets which poured napalm on innocent school children in Mozambique?
These fighter aircrafts and equipment came from the British and Americans.
Here is what napalm is: A mixture of plastic polystyrene, hydrocarbon benzene and gasoline.
This mixture creates a jelly-like substance that, when ignited, sticks to practically anything and burns up to 10 minutes.
The effects of napalm on the human body are unbearably painful and almost always cause death among its victims.
While water boils at 212°F, napalm generates temperatures of up to 1 500°F to 2 200°F.”
Whites looked for the worst weapons that could inflict the most horrific pain, that would kill and maim mercilessly.
Comrade Dzingai Mutumbuka cried when he saw the fragments from the bombs that were dropped at Gondola in July 1978.
The British bandits had intended them for the children who fortunately had been moved to Mudzingadzi exactly a week before the day.
The Rhodesians bombed Gondola before their intelligence knew the children had been moved.
Some of the fragments from the bombs were as big as muromo wejego (ploughshare).
Comrade Mutumbuka could not imagine something so big and so heavy with sharp jagged edges driving into the body of a child with the force of an exploding bomb. He could not get over the depth of Rhodesian brutality.
But yes, they were that brutal and had come to finish off the children who had survived their brutal massacre at Chimoio.
And these are the people (the children) you would betray today?
You would charm the vipers into your home and give them a place of honour; they that killed your brothers and sisters, that ate your mother and father, and you stand on rooftops and broadcast across the nations:
“Come and let us remove this one, let us remove him!”
You have no compunction at all to advocate such about someone who led the war to end this brutal carnage; to end these most brutal inhumanities and yet you know very well why the factories have dwindled over the years; that the British bandit robbers and their European relatives left with their companies to protest our defeating them in our Chimurenga to end their armed robbery of our land.
That there was a further exodus to protest our Third Chimurenga, the liberation of our land and that they insist they are not coming back to invest because they find indigenisation revolting and you also know that many of our efforts to uplift the life of Zimbabweans do not succeed because of those like you who infiltrate our institutions and keep frustrating noble Government programmes.
The whiteman killed us yesterday, took our land and cattle, and made us work as bonded slaves and today you honour them as ‘friends of the people of Zimbabwe’.
Because you see yourself resurrecting puppet Jeremiah Chirau and Bishop Abel Muzorewa, and you want to be installed as the new front for the white exploitation and oppression of our people you kneel at the feet of the former slave masters who murdered thousands of our people.
Can it ever be just that the British and the Americans and their European allies poured napalm on innocent unarmed children?
Here is how Lisbet Munyarari, then a student at Chindunduma in Chimoio, Mozambique, narrates her experience of this inhuman massacre in November 1977: “I was going to school early in the morning, I was in the bathroom.
I shivered and my hair stood on end.
When we were outside we saw mirage jets and helicopters bombing; everything was in flames.
Some of my beloved friends with whom I was in the bathroom died, I tried to run away, I fell down, I had to roll in the napalm that was being splashed by the jets.
A young kid came by my side, he rolled over, he was burnt all over (from napalm), he said: ‘comrade don’t take me, I am already dying.’
These who can do such are your friends, your masters, the ones whom now, for mercenary purposes, you insist are friends of Zimbabwe, defenders of the masses of Zimbabwe?
Has it not dawned on you yet, don’t you yet understand why the whiteman was defeated in this land?
Nothing has changed.
