Zimbabwe being sacrificed

Published on

EDITOR – FOR years now the European Union (EU) has been on our shoulders.
However, Zimbabwe is also being sacrificed by other fellow Africans who behave as if they have seen it all.
Botswana, for example, what kind of independence did they want us to achieve when they associated with the Zimbabwean armed struggle for independence because as it is they are being used by the USA to denounce Zimbabwe and its leadership?
South Africa, of all the African States, now seems to shun our liberation struggle and they sacrificed Julius Malema because the youth had come out openly in support of Zimbabwe.
Malema and the youths had also questioned Botswana president’s stance and his interference in Zimbabwean politics.
Nigeria again is another example.
Obasanjo decided to please the Queen and Zimbabwe walked out of the Commonwealth.
If one could inquire, why would the leaders of these respective countries ignore disturbances in their countries?
War in Nigeria cannot be ignored, neither can we ignore the protests of inequality in South Africa.
Africans have one common problem, that of failing to eradicate oppression of the blackman by the whiteman.
Some African leaders have actually failed to deal with this problem.
That is why they become quickly unpopular with their electorate and get voted out.
