IN my other writings, I wrote about Maat, being the mother of all religions on this planet.
This religion sustained our ancestors’ (the Nahasi blacks or Africans) civilisation for 10 000 years and I don’t think any race can break that record.
Maat was based on truth, balance, order, harmony, law, morality and justice, thus averting chaos on this planet.
It was first disturbed by the Persians in 525 BC, by the Greeks in 322 BC and by the Romans in 84 BC, finally disintegrating into current world religions.
This is ably supported by Ecclesiastes 1: Verse 9-10 which say: “What has been is what will be, and what has been done will be done again; is there anything of which one may say, ‘Look at this — it is new?’ It already existed from long ago; It existed before our time.”
One hundred and fourteen years after its demise, Yeshua (Jesus) resuscitated it. For three years he preached about love, justice and communality among mankind but his teachings were not well received because, after the demise of Maat, its foundation was completely destroyed.
The religious leaders, the powerful in society, the rich and the wise preyed on the ignorant, poor and weak which was the opposite of what Maat stood for.
‘’I made every man like his fellow,’’ the Creator is always declaring.
And Maat called the rich to help the less fortunate rather than exploit them. Yeshua’s message angered the ruling class that included the clergy, the end result is well-known by every Jack or Jill, believer or non-believer.
After His ascension, His true friends, commonly known as the apostles, preached about Maat as evidenced in Acts of the Apostles: Chapters 2 and 4.
Chapter 2: Verses 44-46 says: “And all that believed were together, and had all things in common; and they sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all, according as any man had need. And day-by-day, continuing steadfastly with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread at home, they took their food with gladness and singleness of heart. And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and soul: and not one of them said the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things in common. For neither was there among them any that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands and houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold and laid them at the apostles feet: and distribution was made unto each, according as anyone had need. And Joseph, who by the apostles was surnamed Barnabas (Son of exhortation), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race, having a field, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
These were the Friends of Yeshua who believed and acted communally, not Christians.
Christians behave like in Acts 5: Verses 1-11, in the story of Ananias and Saphira, the capitalists.
These Christians preach Haggai 1: Verses 4-11 which states that tithes must be given to Levites and not Deuteronomy 14: Verses 22-29 that puts across the message that tithes must be eaten by the tither but without forgetting Levites, widows, orphans and the foreign resident.
Rome, the destroyer of Maat, the murderer of Yeshua and His friends, took over the movement started by Yeshua and became its leader to this day.
From the friends of Yeshua, it’s now called Christianity, the opposite of Maat and what Yeshua stands for.
Everyone who is not afraid to think knows the crimes and sins Christians committed, are committing, in the name of Yeshua.
And this does not only apply to Christians alone, but to all religions that are committing crimes and sins in the name of their founders.
This means, world religions are now not based on the laws of the Creator but on the doctrines, whims and philosophy of man.
These philosophies have made mankind act like wild beasts against each other and, in the process, making wild beasts appear more civilised than humans.
Human beings give lip service to the laws of the Creator.
‘’But if man begins to fall in the physical and moral grades of Creation, he may fall to the lowest level, in his deeds, indeed lower than the animals do by nature,’’ says the Qur’aan.
What does the Word of Yaweh say in Micah 3: Verses 9-12: “Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and rulers of the house of Israel, that abhor justice, and pervert all equity.
They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity. The heads, therefore, judge for reward, and the priests, therefore, teach for hire and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet they lean upon Jehovah, and say, Is not Jehovah in the midst of us? No evil shall come upon us.”
Right now on the motherland, prophets, apostles and bishops, among others, are busy prophesying about everything except when the burden will be lifted off the backs of the Nahasi race by the Tambou (whites).
This burden is causing poverty that is unparalleled on a continent with vast riches.
One wonders why they are shying from this prophesy that all poor-stricken Nahasians are eagerly waiting for.
This burden started in 84 BC up to now.
Maybe they are hiding behind Acts 1: Verse 6-7: “Then they gathered around him and asked him, ‘Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?’ He said to them: ‘It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority.”
The burden we are suffering from is caused by the religious leaders not adhering to Micah 3: Verses 9-12.
This does not need prophesy but action.
As it stands, this burden does not worry the religious leaders as they are among the richest of the rich in the world.
What then for the wretched long suffering poor Nahasians?
Maybe resuscitate Maat, minus the rich, the clergy and the religious leaders, the way Christianity and Islam started in their formative years.
Yet, these two religions have failed to stick to their former formative ways of eradicating poverty from among the Nahasians.
I have maintained, and will always maintain, that poverty is not a creation of Yahweh but of greedy corrupt human beings.
The poor, since time immemorial, have always been in the majority, but have dismally failed to checkmate the rich.
The reason being, the rich are good at making the poor fight among themselves for their own survival.
Religions have failed, since time immemorial, to bring peace and prosperity to mankind because they are a creation of mankind.
As I see it, if the world religions don’t change and the people get oriented, they are sitting on a time bomb of their own making and are surely on the home stretch to self-destruction.
Time will tell and time waits for no one.
It’s an open secret how Christianity and Islam started.
People were fed up with the way the Romans had polluted Maat after she had conquered Egypt.
The Roman Church had become a religion of extorting money from both the rich and the poor, making the clergy very rich.
This created a division among its members, culminating in more divisions that have created modern denominations we see today.
Modern organised religions must stop worshipping the Idol called money if they don’t want to be history.
As I alluded at the beginning, and giving examples of both of Christian and Islam religions, the world can eradicate poverty if human beings embrace moral goodness, which is the Image of Yahweh within us.
But this is almost impossible because modern organised religions are bed fellows with capitalism, a system that is even not allowed in hell, as it breeds greed, corruption and disunity.
Familiarity breeds contempt and religious institutions have always taken worshippers for granted.
Yes, worshippers revere Yahweh but religious leaders can never replace Yahweh. Despite them hypnotising their followers, soon, the chickens are coming home to roost.
It’s time to change and start behaving like the friends of Yeshua not Christians. The bottom line is for modern organised religions to go back to the basics of preaching and mimic the actions of John the Baptist, Yeshua and the Apostles.
