Manyuchi can do it!

Published on

EDITOR – I AM not an avid fan of boxing, but every time Charles Manyuchi has a bout I’m usually very interested, not just because the man is from my home area, Chivhu, but because he will be representing us as a country.
He will be carrying not just our national flag, but our pride too.
Zimbabweans are gallant fighters, in and out of the ring, and Manyuchi will definitely show them this when he defends his title against one Qudratillo Abduqaxorov from Uzbekistan.
I hear the fight is in Singapore and it’s a pity there will not be many Zimbabweans in that arena to cheer on Manyuchi, but one thing for certain is, he knows we are with him in spirit.
No doubt Manyuchi is our boxing hero in Zimbabwe and it is crucial for all Zimbabweans to rally behind this great fighter.
He has made us proud all over the world.
I remember in Russia he conquered and I am convinced in Singapore he will also conquer because, indeed, he stings like a bee.
All the best Manyuchi!
