I can’t believe these white folks

EDITOR – I JUST came across one of your past editions and couldn’t believe what I came across.
That Sekuru Kaguvi was baptised before he was hanged.
That after he was baptised, the racist whites gave him the name ‘Dismas’ which means, ‘the good thief’. If my memory serves me right, that so-called good thief is the one who was apparently crucified alongside Jesus Christ whom by the way was black, not white as depicted on various portraits.
I understand he is the one who asked Jesus to remember him when he gets to heaven before Jesus assured him that very same night they would be together in the Kingdom of heaven.
Sure varungu vari mushe here vanhu ava?
I suppose after being baptised Sekuru Kaguvi thought he was going to be set free, but no, they hanged him and they did so without remorse.
Mbuya Nehanda on the other hand refused to be baptised before she was hanged too.
She stood by her beliefs and to date she is the inspiration of Zimbabwe.
Her bones indeed rose and that is why we are free today.
My apologies Editor, if what was done to Sekuru Kaguvi is in line with Christianity, then its better I stick to what Mbuya Nehanda stood for and represented, munhu mutema aneunhu hwake anoziva vadzimu vake naMusikavanhu.
I rest my case.
