Hambakahle Pretty, we will miss you

EDITOR – IT is sad to note that Pretty Xaba has departed from us at a time when everyone was still thirsting for her appearance on television.
She was a star.
I can’t imagine the whole television programmes running without featuring Pretty Xaba.
You were an entertainer Pretty whom everyone would admire and could not afford to miss.
It is also sad that you departed when the film industry also lost your counterpart Nevernay Chinyanga who featured in the soap opera Studio 263 as Muwengwa on which you also rose to the peak of your fame as Mai Muwengwa.
Muwengwa succumbed to cancer, the same disease that took your life, and one would think cancer was created to destroy our cream of actors.
But above all, we believe it is God the creator who has taken you back to a better place though it is difficult to accept and our hearts still bleed.
You have left a huge gap in the film sector Pretty.
Your contribution to the growth of the local film industry will never be forgotten.
Tears may dry, but memories will never end.
Hambakahle Pretty.
Rest in peace
We love you
