Media must shun sensationalism

Published on

EDITOR – I don’t know what can be done to stop this sensationalising of issues by the media, especially private family issues. Should we as citizens live in fear of people bent on misleading the nation. Toitasei veduwe? Some issues to be honest, are hardly true and not even factual and they have repercussions on the people whose lives will never be the same especially in marriages. The media is making it their point to invade people’s lives and in most cases creating havoc. They say a picture says a thousand words, but in those thousands there are lies and assumptions as well. Please always verify your stories to avoid pure gutter journalism. It is bad. Disgruntled Parent Victoria Falls
