Message to Rhodies …Zim now our playground

Published on

EDITOR – I AM an avid reader of your newspaper and of late interesting things are happening on your website.
It seems like you are doing something peculiar than any other paper in the country and that is provoking bitter Rhodesians who still dream of Rhodesia.
You can tell that Rhodies are still very angry because they have absolutely nothing good to say about our country.
They denigrate our leaders and despise everything that is Zimbabwean.
They even go to the extent of posting their pictures in the then Rhodesia claiming it was their ‘playground’, yet they stole our land, cattle and abused us as they wished. We had to fight in order to get our country back.
And this is something that our misguided fellows do not understand in this country when they are used by the same white people who wanted to destroy everything Zimbabwean.
I am glad however that your newspaper shows the true picture on the ground, the fact that our real threat in this country is not puppets like Morgan Tsvangirai, Job Sikhala and so forth, but the forces behind them, Rhodesians in the form of Roy Bennett, Iain Kay and David Coltart among others.
I hope you keep it up at The Patriot.
Keep bombarding Rhodesians with the message that Rhodesia will never return.
Yakapera sehondo yemiseve.
I hope one Brian Myhill reads this. “Zimbabwe is now our playground.”
