No excuses for non-performance

EDITOR – SANCTIONS have hit us bad and the Inclusive Government did not help matters.
It is common knowledge that there were counter-revolutionaries in the set-up that were bent on seeing the country sink deeper into hardship.
But the Inclusive Government is now gone and sanctions are still in place, but our Look East Policy is paying dividends.
In the East we have genuine friends that have stood with us from the days of the liberation struggle and we must continue to work with them.
Ministers appointed must come up with solutions to challenges we are facing, let us forget about the Inclusive Government.
Let us not constantly or rather let us not refer to it at all, we are starting afresh with a system that has the people at heart and that is what matters.
Ministers that will want to blame the Inclusive Government we will consider failures because we appointed you to fix the wrongs that were done by that government.
People are ready to do whatever is necessary to see the economy working.
And let us not waste time being told we need the West, the IMF and World Bank to succeed.
The organisations are not there for the development of Africa, but to sink us into debt.
