IN August of 2012 I went to my homeland, Mberengwa, after five years of studying in China.
I was surprised to find little airplanes and sophisticated lab trucks arriving in places like Dhanga, which are very remote.
At this point, few understood who the white people with these vehicles were and rumours were spreading around.
I decided to stay a little longer to see what would develop and eventually learnt that they were white Jews from the US who had come specifically for the Remba community in Zimbabwe with the desire to convert them into what they term ‘modern Jewry’.
These Jews, in particular, had a twist to them because they were also Christians who called themselves Jewish Voice Ministries.
They pre-meditated and considered the fact that Talmudic Judaism was almost unknown in Zimbabwe and that Christianity had, through colonisation, successfully penetrated many groups in the country, including the Remba.
Thus the Jews devised a ministry that would help them spread Talmudic Judaism with a Christian inclination so as to draw in the Remba community whose origins and culture are Hebraic.
To make sure they effectively drew in the Remba community for conversion, the Jews came with a claim saying the Remba were once whites and only became black because of miscegenation with African women.
This, they claimed, saying the Remba are referred to as ‘varungu’ which is a word now commonly misconstrued to mean whites when the word ‘murungu/mulungu’ was used in Central and Southern Africa long before the coming of whites and meant ‘lord’.
The Remba have always been black-skinned and had strict laws that forbade their ancestors to marry from non-black groups that did not resemble them.
For this, the Remba brought with them words like ‘gentiles’ which they call ‘vashenji’ from the north.
It is believed ancestors of the Remba entered Africa permanently to flee white-skinned gentiles who, through miscegenation, bring among them children of mixed-race.
Their fears were justified because it is evident in current-day Yemen that the inhabitants are a mix of indigenous blacks and white-skinned foreigners from places like Turkey.
Many Ottomans who took over Arabia were white-skinned because of the genesaries who were mostly Greek and Roman.
Sadly, some Remba people have bought into this the false claim of them having been whites, just as many have bought into the depiction of the biblical Israelites as whites.
The Jews brought with them doctors, surgeons, eye-specialists and so on to medicate the Remba community.
They initially refused to treat the non-Remba people of the community and were exclusively concerned about the welfare of the Remba.
The Remba are well-assimilated with the rest of the Zimbabweans in every place they reside.
There is no visible difference between a Remba and a non-Remba in Zimbabwe.
You only get to know the difference after being told or after observing their cultural practices.
Although ancestors of the Remba were forbidden from marrying non-Remba people, they married African women freely.
This shows the gentiles the Remba were mostly referring to in the north were non-blacks.
Today a Remba man may have a non-Remba mother or wife.
How then is it that such a united people could be separated by foreigners who wanted to medicate a Remba father disregarding his spouse and her kinsmen because they are not?
The Remba refused to participate under these conditions.
The Jews quickly changed their position to accepting the Remba along with their neighbours for treatment.
The people of Mposi, Mberengwa, Remba and non-Remba alike, then flocked to the camps of the Jews set up in Dhanga.
The Jews went further to hold sermons where they would count the attendants as converts.
Although non-Remba people also went for treatment, only Remba people were targeted for the sermons.
The Jews bought cattle which they gave to the Remba to slaughter lawfully and eat so as to win attendants and it worked.
More and more people began attending the Jewish services in classrooms at schools like Chomusenda.
I could not help but see parallels in the invasion of Zimbabwe by the British, to the invasion of the Remba by the white Jews.
They do not come with hostility, but gifts for subtle bribery and always a religion.
Once the indigenous people accept the foreign religion, they would have forsaken their traditional one along with accepting the authority of the foreign priests or rabbis over them.
At that time, it was not clear to me how the Jews had pulled off this scheme to convert the Remba, who are one of the remaining descendants of Israel who survived enslavement.
The Remba still practise the ancient Hebraic culture which has not been tainted by corrupt Rabbinic interpretations that make up Talmudic Judaism.
To convert a people who have worked so hard, for so long, to conserve their own faith and culture would mean a great disappointment to the ancestors of the Remba and the loss of a rich heritage to their descandants.
Yet these are the odds that are being faced by the Remba, not only in Mberengwa, but most places in Zimbabwe and South Africa where they can be found.
The Remba people of Mberengwa are cultured people who live an agro-based lifestyle of farming, livestock rearing and occasional hunting and mining.
Most of them lack study and research resources in their vicinity and have no way of telling what is happening elsewhere besides from the radio.
Thus it is hard for them to scrutinise the authenticity of these foreigners.
I then made it my business to find out exactly what the Jews were after, how they were doing it and why.
Although the Remba know their history very well, most of them do not know the history of the Euro-gentiles who now call themselves Jews and practice Judaism. The Remba wrongly assume that like them, the so-called Jews are also descendants of Israel, but this is not the case for the greater part of them.
They are mostly Europeans with no Shemitic origins, who simply converted to the religion of Judaism, mostly before the middle-age period.
The religion of Judaism was not practised by the Hebrew Israelites, but was introduced in Babylon long after their scattering and was practiced by Greek and Roman converts.
It is these people who are now known as Jews, but are in fact not Israelites.
They instead resemble Italians who are also descendants of Romans and have time and again been involved in the enslavement of blacks.
The white Jews of America were responsible for 92 percent of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade and the immense wealth they possess today was acquired from the trading of blacks as slaves.
Ironically, most of the blacks they enslaved from the West African coasts were the actual descendants of Israel who had fled to North and West Africa after they were scattered from Samaria – Israel afore time.
Now these same notorious whites have come to the Remba community of Zimbabwe and what they plan on carrying out here, they have already carried out in South Africa and Ethiopia.
They wish to infiltrate all groups that have ancestry in Israel, make them forsake their own cultures and collectively become followers of Talmudic Judaism under white Rabbis and other authorities from Zionist Israel.
