Well done Billiat and Jah Prayzah

Published on

EDITOR – THIS week Zimbabwe is basking in glory, courtesy of Khama Billiat and Mukudzei ‘Jah Prayzah’ Mukombe’s achievements.
Billiat, the current South African ABSA Premier Soccer League Soccer Star of the Year has won yet another trophy with Sundowns, the CAF Champions League.
He is on the brink of achieving a lot more as he is going to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup in December and Africa Cup of Nations in January.
Jah Prayzah, the perennial mesmeriser from Uzumba, also made the Nation proud after scooping a top award at the MAMA awards held recently in South Africa amid many regional musical giants on the nominees list.
This is a reflection of Zimbabwe’s rising talents.
What could be the recipe for such an era of victories?
Remember, these developments come after memories of Charles Manyuchi’s win against Jose Augustine Ferria of Columbia.
But Billiat and Jah Prayzah’s achievements have brought in a sense of consciousness towards Zimbabwe’s talent.
We say congratulations to the two for raising the National Flag high!
But there is more to be done.
There is more talent out there that needs to be tapped and when an individual has talent, it needs to be developed through the right means.
Editor, Jah Prayzah and Billiat have shown the world that Zimbabwe indeed has got talent.
Let us celebrate these history makers so that others are inspired to follow suit.
Small as we are, we must never forget that we are a great Nation with great people capable of doing wonders.
Well done Billiat and Jah Prayzah!
Proud Zimbo,
Harare.
