White sabotage at play in cricket

Published on

EDITOR — THE recent mauling of the Zimbabwe Cricket team by minnows Afghanistan is disheartening and calls for thorough introspection of our team and the disastrous direction we are taking.
Fingers might be pointed to this or other ‘problem’ but the truth is that this is simply unacceptable and it’s a disaster that must be quickly dealt with.
How on earth can, with all due respect to Afghanstan, an Associate nation be allowed to break records at our expense.
We are at this moment pretending we have a national team.
We do not have a team.
We have in our midst a bunch of lads masquerading as cricket players
One cannot help but feel we have a coalition of people conspiring to shame their country.
We are beginning to think this is deliberate sabotage.
We cannot be blamed for belonging to that school of thought when our cricketers are putting up horror shows?
This is a crisis that urgently calls for the attention and intervention of all stakeholders because there is evidently a direct link between the shocking display by our players and the revolutionary Land Reform and Resettlement Programme.
As we do an introspection of the madness by our cricketers, our first port of call should be on the politics because I have no doubt in my mind that the intrusive hand of whites is at play here.
We should keep our eyes open.
